As a DevOps Engineer, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our SaaS platform is scalable, secure, and efficient. You will build and manage infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and support a high-availability environment. You will also play a key role in monitoring and optimizing performance while collaborating with the engineering team to deliver a seamless product experience.

Role Summary


As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our SaaS platform’s user-facing and backend components. You will work on crafting engaging user interfaces while ensuring seamless interaction with robust backend systems. A strong understanding of web technologies, databases, and API integration is crucial, and an interest in marketing and branding will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities


  • ·Infrastructure Management:
  • ·Design, implement, and maintain in-house infrastructure tailored to our platform's needs, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
  • ·Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • ·CI/CD Pipelines:
  • ·Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • ·Automate testing, deployment, and rollback procedures.
  • ·Monitoring and Logging:
  • ·Implement and maintain monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure uptime and performance.
  • ·Create alerts and reporting mechanisms for system health and key metrics.
  • ·Security and Compliance:
  • ·Implement best practices for infrastructure security and data protection.
  • ·Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • ·Collaboration:
  • ·Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of development and operations workflows.
  • ·Support the team in troubleshooting and optimizing infrastructure-related issues.
  • ·Scalability and Performance:
  • ·Design solutions to ensure the platform can handle high traffic and scale efficiently as the user base grows.
  • ·Optimize resource usage and infrastructure costs.

Requirements


Must-Have

  • ·Technical Skills:
  • ·Proficiency in in-house infrastructure management, with strong skills in networks, hardware maintenance, and ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • ·Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • ·Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • ·Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • ·Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • ·Problem-Solving: Ability to design and troubleshoot complex infrastructure systems.
  • ·Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with shifting priorities.
  • ·Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have

  • ·Experience in marketing analytics or interest in branding and digital marketing.
  • ·Familiarity with SaaS platforms and multi-tenant architectures.
  • ·Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • ·Experience with load testing and performance optimization tools.
